Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia

to the Kingdom of Sweden

After graduating from the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade and passing the Bar exam, Her Excellency Ambassador Jelena Čukić Matić worked in the family law office. She continued her professional and academic training during her career at institutions in Serbia and abroad. Ambassador Čukić Matić has been employed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1996 and served at the Embassies of the Republic of Serbia in London, Ottawa, Washington and Bucharest. In the Ministry, she was engaged at the Spokesperson's Office, the Department for Europe, the Department for the Americas, the Department for the United Nations and as the Chief of staff of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. She speaks English, French and Spanish.
