Ambassador of Serbia in Sweden Mr. Dusan Crnogorcevic and Editor in Chief of Vagabond magazine Kajsa Beausang
Belgrade is featured as an ideal City Break destination in renowned travel magazine Vagabond, after the magazine crew visited Belgrade in the arrangement of Tourist Organization of Belgrade.
Six members of Vagabond magazine, headed by Chef Editor Kajsa Beausang, have visited Belgrade attractions, Ada Ciganlija, Skadarlija and Zemun, tasted gastronomy specialties in famous Belgrade restaurants, getting familiar with the tourist offering of the City.
“Thanks to the Tourist Organization of Belgrade, our trip turned into an unforgettable experience”, said Kajsa Beausang after leaving Belgrade.
The first article about Belgrade was published in Vagabond under the title “24 hours in Belgrade – the Capital of Serbia rocks”, than Belgrade was recommended as a top destination for 2013 in December issue “Belgrade – the best fun in Europe”. Moreover, in its March edition magazine brings the new five-page article on Belgrade titled “20 tastes of Belgrade”.
In the beginning of February, Beausang was hosted by the Sweden National Radio where she recommended Belgrade as the number one destination for a weekend break in live program. The most important article is published right before the TUR in Goteborg, the largest tourism trade fair in Scandinavia.
In 2012 number of visitors in Belgrade coming from Sweden was increased by 25%. Promotional activities in Sweden are being organized in cooperation with Serbian Embassy in Sweden.
